It would help to know what you're handy at: whether you sew at all or bake, etc. You can make a nice lounger with 2 bath sheet towels and 1 standard-size towel; or slippers from 2 facecloths, for example. Or bake a cake or cookies; they'll appreciate your effort. Or try a dried floral arrangement if you have a talent for that: you can get supplies at Dollar Tree or Michaels or A.C. Moore. It's the thought that counts.
