Art project?

Question:what is an easy art project i can do for my quarter grade?
it can be anything artistic
something that takes about an hour to do
its worth a lot of pionts and i just need some ideas of some projects so please help =]

collages are fun and easy you can use mixed media, color schemes, contrast, balance, and pretty much all the elements of art: lines, shape, form, space, point, light, motion, direction, scale, dimension, texture and color.

Another idea would be a water color or a drawing that shouldn't take too long and again you can be expressive.

Sculpture????? Like something small made out of clay??

Oh and of course paint it! LOL

Take pictures. Crop them tight or at weird angles. Colorize them or black and white. Taking a 3/4 face shot of a family member in motion, cropped tight cutting off most of the neck and top of the head can be striking when done in sepia, black and white or a combination of two colors like blue and pink.

Hi, you want to do something different, so why not try making a project out of papier mache, you have the fun of making it then you get to paint it and because it isn't typical you will have the edge on your class mates!

If you really want to impress, try Pysanky. Ukrainian egg decorating. If you make a simple design, it's easy and can be done in an hour.

Do you have to demo? or just have a finished project?

Make a bracelet or a small purse on an indian bead weaving loom you make yourself. If you use large pony beads, it'll go quickly, though smaller beads might look better. Do you have to complete a project from start to finish? Warp the loom, weave, take off and finish the project? or could you just start and finish the weaving itself?

I can show you how to make a simple loom to twine a rug or in your case, say, a hot pad, on.

Maybe a small woven basket? A small tapestry made into a barrette?

The pysanky is still the most impressive and artistic!
