Question:is the whole past century still refered to as modern? can we make some new divisions or subclasses?

There are already different sub-classes, as you will know if you have studied literature. There is moderism and post modernism to name two of them, just as there are different sub-classes in art.

According to academics, it is still considered to be a point of reference until the next century: 2100. Only then does it change, although I'd personaly say they should change it after the first decade of a new century: 2010. This would make it more sensible in my eyes . . .
