As a coincidence, today in a news item, i came across the fact that, scientists have almost found out the method for manufacturing artificial "chromosomes", which form the basis of "life"....!
Afterwards when I saw your question, i could not resist the temptation of answering it...
"Life" is just a form of energy....when our life ends, this form of energy is getting converted into another form of energy ! thats all...
Well, I am answering this with due respect to all faiths and religions and was only mentioning the probable scientific explanation !

Well, I think the end of life is when you gave up on yourself.For me, when you forgot or not knowing about your own identities,when people telling you about you should be,that's the end of life, because God creates human who have brain and feeling towards themselves and others,so they can make their own decision,so when someone telling you who you should become, that's the end of life.
