Asheville, NC for the weekend; any St. Paty's or unusual happenings for a single adventurer?

Staying with friends; but, venturing alone. Massage workshop on Satur-day. Vegan/vegetarian/unique foody with an upcoming birthday. Considering a move in June, so I'll be "scouting" this weekend too...

Asheville is always rockin! It's also known as "little San Francisco". Up town has lots of clubs and "Laughing Seed" restaurant is a nice veggie place to eat. Peace
