Tips on how to make a poem?

I have a project that is due on march 23rd, but I haven't started doing it yet. Because its hard for me to make a poem and I think its very hard to make one...

any tips?

find rhyming words and end the sentences with them. If u can't think of a word or idea that rhymes then brainstorm or check the thesaurus. When u choose an ending word then find all the rhymes you can for that word. Go with the alphabet, words that rhyme which start with a, then try b's, then c's, etc.

Here's an example:

I came on this site,
where i wanted to be right,
so i answered a query,
to make the questioner merry,
he hopefully liked what i said,
and with inspiration he was fed,
and to his project success i lead!

:) LOL, i wrote this in 2 mins, it can be more thought out and creative if u take ur time.
