ALONE, IF ONLY FOR A WHILE
Leaving me alone,
You walk away.
I don??t know what to do,
I don??t know what to say,
To make you stay.
You turn and look at me,
But you don??t come back.
Sitting in that place,
With no one to keep me company,
I begin to sob,
When suddenly around the corner,
You come walking,
You say sorry,
And sit with me.
I cry now,
But am no longer sad.
I was scared you would leave me,
But I hadn??t counted on our friendship,
That friendship that held us together.
I wrote theis poem, and i want to send in to the youth part of my towns paper, but mum friends mum says it's almost exactly the same another poem. I dont want o send it in if it is, because someone might claim that i copied it.
