My beautiful son

There he was
Making angels in the snow
Cradled in my arms
Not so long ago

He will never know
How much love I have for him
How did I live without his smile?

He thinks he is cool
But I know all of his secrets
Only I know he is still afraid of the dark

So full of life
I want it to last
Preserve his innocence
And the love that bursts out of me
Every time he??s near
