Something I wrote a few weeks ago:

The realm of darkness
In which I dwell
This place that light and love forgot.
Come seek me out
And join me here
This land where nothing matters.
Descend with me
Down to the depths;
Depravity, pain and filth.

They left me here
In this place not sought
And I can't claw my way back
To the land of the living
The world above
Where happiness still exists.
Instead, abandoned
In this place to rot;
No more than I deserve.

Kinda chilling, True Blue....very dark. I like that you didn't add any excessive imagery. By leaving it stark, you created the "realm of darkness" quite nicely. It flows pretty well, and I love it that there isn't any forced rhyming, or long wordy lines.
All in all? Nice, very nice.
