they would show a general interest. flirt with you, show that they care about what you have to say. but, some are complicated. they might shy away. but not completely ignore you, if you catch them looking at you more than three times thats always good, haha. unless you have something in your teeth.. thats not good.
if your interested, but not sure if she is too, flirt with her and see how she reacts. ask her out if you have the confidence.
