Is modern art a hoax?

Sir Anthony Blunt, the brilliant art historian to the British Royal family, claimed that modern art was a hoax. Do you agree?

Yes I definitely do. Who was that artist who won the Turner Prize by showing a blank room with a light going on and off? I mean the people who think this is good are suffering from a case of the Emperors New Clothes. It is rubbish. A mockery is being made of Art and anyone who says it isn't is just trying to be fashionable and contemporary.

You just need to look at Van Gogh, Picasso, Michaelangelo, etc to realise how much talent they had compared to people who displayed pickled cows and empty rooms.

I hope people begin to realise this soon and we can go back to the days where Art evokes emotions other than those of anger at it not being Art!
