A story for publication.?

I need to right a short story for my AS English Language coursework

I really am struggling with what to write. It can be about anything.

Any ideas?

Don't struggle. Nothing to struggle about. Your ideas are all there around you. Write a short story about the frustrations of not being able to write a short story. It will write itself. Sit down, get prepared. Beforehand, set everything up, and just start describing honestly how you feel. Distracted by a car horn? a little hangover bubble maybe? Write it as it happens. The story will come quickly, because it is real and now, you will get excited and feel passions and pride, and then, your room mate or sibling or friend will walk in with a partner and rack your brain so you can't think. Write it! It is your story! The trick to it is to not write sentence to sentance , checking your work. write it, blemishes and all, until you are spent. Edit later.
You will write a great paper, I know it!.
