i have to paint a birds nest but i want it do be different unusual something creative can u give me any ideas

Take a picture of an actual nest. Draw it in great detail with a pencil on your canvas or paper, then paint in all those great details and give it the different variations of color that you see in your picture and even create some of your own to create interest, shading, lighting and realism.
