Question:

Why is art called "humanity's footprints in the sand of time?

what are the reasons why is it called like that?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

I don't know the official reasons, but here is why I think art is called that.

Art is a mark we leave. A mark representing who we are. As time flows on, our art will likely outlast us. But, as footprints do in sand, eventually it fades away.

Thats just what I think. I hope it makes sense.
