i have been recruited by infosys ..........a major software giant in india ..........and i just want to know like wipro do the recriters have to deposit any money while joining?...............and also say me i am just an non-IT student and i know just basic C and c++...waht else if i learn ..it ll be better to shine in infosys?

I deal with Infosys personnel every day (mostly the Bangalore office). The main lack I see is in the mini and mainframe areas, but my advice to you is to learn some Java (as that seems to be the main flow of Infosys revenue). Forget the C all together and upgrade your C++ to C++.Net or another .Net language. If you can, squeeze in some multi-platform operating system knowledge, cross-platform networking, or any enterprise database management system knowledge.

Also, brush up on your SQL and don't worry too much about being a non-I.T. student. Have confidence, show what you DO know, and let them know that you are willing to be flexible and learn new things. Push the "can-do" attitude and you will do fine.
