They're only 'worth buying' if you like them enough to pay for them. They will not attain higher value over time if that's what you're asking. They're light-weight, decorative fluff, overly sentimental, mass-produced, kitch. Personally I wouldn't spend my hard-earned money on them. Perhaps you can tell someone to get you one for a birthday present? That way you don't have to actually spend money on them and you can still have one to enjoy if you like that kind of thing.
