Hi, is it worth and safe buying books on barnesandnobel.com? From France

I have never ordered from Barnes and Noble from France, but B&N is a reputable company. When I lived in France many years ago I did order books from other companies located in the US and had no problems receiving the shipments. Sometimes I would have to go to the local PTT and pay a small amount of customs duty when I picked them up.

Does the Barnes and Noble site say that they will ship books overseas? If so then they probably have a lot of experience doing that. OK... checking their web site I see that they do have a provision for sending books to many different countries, including France.

Maybe it would be better for you to order from a British dealer than one in the US, since the UK is closer to France. Have you looked into ordering from Amazon.co.uk? For that matter, have you already checked Amazon.fr to see if they can get the books that you need?

I really don't think that ordering from B&N will be a problem, just make sure to supply all of the necessary shipping information.
