Question:

Another poem for people who wanted rhyme.?

flipping through the pages of a an ancient book
I can feel the earth move
You're here
I'm where you want me

Control the mind, override the time
fix on a star and stare at the glow
turn and run for the old ones will come
shoot for home

Feel your bones ache
in a time of dread which fills your head
with calm and cool
feel the moon

Control the mind, feed the time
find a place
shoot up to the sky
for the time is near

So come on in
and wear your grin
for the stars don't tell
what's in the well

I like it a lot Rosey. Even tho this poem rhymes and I don't care for rhyme that much, I do know that your poetry has very deep meaning, and once again you have presented a poem with deep meaning to it.

I feel that you are talking about faith, the love for God and the comfort which he brings.

first four lines. I believe you are talking about the Bible, your connection to it and your devotion to God.

second verse:

controlling oneself even when the times challenge us to be in chaos. fixate on the brightness of times and run home (God)

third verse:

Feel pain both physical and mental, but remain cool and calm in essence, remain yourself and true to God.

fourth verse:

almost sounds like a high, but instead of getting high from a drug.. God is the drug that is giving the high.

last verse:

inviting others to come into your life (belief system) and to be happy (grin)

last two lines are interesting.

My assumption is that you are talking about stars (celebrities) media and the such that don't have truth.
