Can someone literaly die of bordness?

If we close someone in a white room, with no windows and anything else, just toss in some food and water 3 times a day will he die of bordness?

People have been known to die of boredom or idleness or even lonliness.

Sometimes people can be so bored that they commit suicide to relieve themselves of the ennui.

There are some individuals who are outgoing and gregarious and need interaction with people or artificial stimulations (games, activities, events) to occupy their minds. These people can actually go 'stir crazy' if placed in solitary confinement or stranded alone on a desert island. So it really depends on the individual.
