It depends on the situation. Some people are isolated and need to communicate. Others need to inform the world of the changing environment, and of their own existence. Some have things they want to share, such as good written works, and good art. Some want answers to questions.
If people didn't express themselves, they may act out.
I sometimes prefer to move, than to further express myself.
It depends on the persons age.
