Help! I need a poem about love and a flower being the main character?

I'm trying to come up with a short poem about love for a grandmother. I'm going to have it with a flower that the kids are going to plant and give to her for mothers day.

Dear Grandma, We hope you understand,our love for you is grand. And all us kids are crazy,so we're planting you a daisy. We would've planted roses, but thorns scratched up our noses.
