I've written a murder mystery game. Where can I go to publish it?

I've gone to many websites that sell games, but none that will buy original works. I've written it for a large group of people (30), but it really only needs at least 6.

UPDATE: I do not have a patent on it. I do not know how to get one. If anyone could help me with that, that too would be useful.

Hi Erin,

There are several publishers that will buy your murder mystery game - such as Freeform Games, Mysteries-on-the-net and (I think) Dinner and a Murder Mystery Games.

However - they all have established formats. If you've written a murder mystery game that doesn't fit with their format, then they won't be interested.

But if they won't buy it, don't lose heart. You can publish it yourself - it's easier than you think. The basic steps are:

Write the game
Playtest the game. (And review, review, review!)
Turn the game into a pdf
Get yourself a Paypal account
Create a Clickbank account and sell your game through them
