The Unrest

I linger daintily, fragile, and pale
Pulsating, trembling, as I fear inhale
The haunting crimson; the sanguine scarlet;
The relentless fever of unrest.
Delirium accosts my fragile nest
I tremor, feeling cornered by the threat

An effervescent whisper caresses
The moss of my yet ripened fieriness
The torrid amber honey of his touch
Imprisons me within his grasp; tremblin??,
Appeasing to my yearning; my longing;
Desiring an embrace; my lips, his bouche

The passion lingers penetrating my
Ephemeral nest; ripening estacy;
Igniting the russet embers of youth
A soul, veiled by deception and allure
Harkin?? to an ethereal love potion cure
Grasping on to a sombre* of untruths

*sombre meaning shade

Wow, I love the language you use! Certainly one of the benefits of a good vocabulary, as far as poetry is concerned, is that it can create such vivid imagery. Honestly, what I appreciate most about this poem is that you effectively communicate your feelings to the reader. Most amateur poets fail to do this successfully. I think that you have a very imaginative rhyme scheme as well that undoubtedly helps establish a strong report with the reader. You don't let any of the common stumbling blocks of poetry stand in your way, but you use them to convey your message superbly--I really appreciate this poem.
