What makes a good artist?

Is it a person who is really talented at artistic pursuits or a person who is different and doing somthing nobody else is?

to me a good artist is a person who can express themselves
freely who is honest and take risks, i admire artists who try something outside the norm a person who takes an idea and interprets in a creative way.basically a person who's not afraid to stand out from the crowd an artist with their own signature.a person has got to have the talent there but also be hardworking.
