What the previous posters are getting at is that Arts degrees in the humanities are notorious for not doing you much good.

If you are in the right place at the right time, and are talented in instruction, you might be able to get a job at some community-type class...but it is nice to have something to fall back on if that is not the case. Very few artists are able support themselves from art alone, since work is never consistent, even assuming you do get commissions or sell your work.

Best wishes...and keep in mind, you will probably get an employee discount at Starbucks, which is almost worth it right there, no? ;-)
