Question:

On Seinfled, what was the whole thing about on Tolskey?

remember the episode where Elaine is in the limo with this Russian writer and Elaine say "War what is it good for" and that guy throws out elains organizer. Who was that Russian guy and what was that episode about? I didnt get it?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

Tolstoy was a Russian author who wrote "War and Peace" in the late 19th century. The song "War (what is it good for)" was recorded in 1969 by Edwin Starr. Jerry was messing with Elaine when he said Tolstoy originally titled his book "War, what is it good for." When she repeated this lie to a Russian book publisher, he was understandably extremely offended.
