What does it mean when someone says their ceramics are fired?

I saw this on a catalog of someone who sells plates and mugs

well fired can mean 3 things, i think what they mean is that their colors are fired and not cold process,
but their are 3 stages of firing a product
1. biscuit
2. glaze
3. onglaze colors

what that comapny could means is #3 their colors are fired
which is at a lower temp that the first 2 stages.
"CERAMICS PRODUCTS ARE FIRED AT 1400F" some companies use cold inks so they don't have to fire the ceramic.
or it could be #1 which is fired at i believe 2200F
