What character and monologue should I do?

to be inducted into the thespian society, tommorrow, i have to dress up as a film star or broadway character and do a monologue...................
i don't know what person i should be????
a couple of ideas was maria from west side story, or belle from beauty and the beast....?
i need some ideas!!!!!!
i have brown hair and brown eyes ....so think for a character...!!!

There are so many. What training have you. Keep the monologue simple but emote with sincere thought. Scarlet O'Hara when she vows never to be poor again. Or Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, with a Cockney accent.
