How do you get contacts when you're trying to sell CD's and art work?

If you're trying to sell your band's CD, you have to get a demo recording first and then try your luck at different labels. You might get a record deal, but it's quite unlikely.
If you're trying to sell other CDs and items, e-bay is the best bet.
If you're trying to sell your own artwork for stuff like book covers or CD covers, you should again contact publishers and labels. Prepare a portfolio and some finished works if you have any, and think of a short speech with reasons why should they need you. If you have trouble, get help with some employment agencies that help you with preparation for job interviews.
