Would I make a good treasurer for student council? Speech ideas (w/ a little of humor, but serious)?

I have a scence of humor.
I am fun and cool.
I have a lot of friends, but my two best freinds are running for Presedant and Vice Preasedent.
I am good at math so I chose Treasurer.
I am VERY committed.
will I be a good canidate?

but my conponent is realy popular, so can you also help me w/ speech ideas?please....

well dude...why don't you say something of humor and seriousness like...Hi my name is...i am running for your ... treasurer!!! i will make a good ... treasurer because.....reasons!!!(w/ humor)...i will also help in fundraisers to help expand our spending budget for dances, renaissanse events, and etc... wrap it up with a slogan and the classic "SO please vote for me as your...treasurer"
