Question:

Has Bansky become an advert for anti-corporate advertising?

The graffiti artist Bansky is reputed to be the founder of Brandalism, with his witty comment on globalisation, corporate branding and politics within societies in which he leaves his mark.

But has he himself become part of the "brand" culture he is defacing or ridiculing, his work ironically being an advertisement for him as an artist and the rebellious movement itself?

I would like to know anyones views on this as I am preparing a dissertation on the subject!

Thank you
