I'm desperate...please tell me what the difference between OBJECTIVITY and SUBJECTIVITY is?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

Objectivity is based on something quantitative: Facts, figures or statistics

Subjectivity is based on something qualitative: feelings, emotions, impressions

Example: Should I play the lottery?

Objective: No. I have a better chance of being struck by lightning or being stung to death by killer bees. Odds are I will not win and it is a waste of money.

Subjective: Yeah, I'll play. I feel lucky today and hey, you never know!
