Hello, I love writing poems so heres my short easy advice for you.

Simply get yourself a note book which you can use only for your words that can be used in a poem. Then lable each page with certain words for example page one maybe the word ONE. Then on that page think or look up all the words that rhyme with this, for example.....ONE, done, fun, come, fun, gun, hun, mum, none, run, sun, stun, won, son AND SO ON. On another page lets say the word, BELIEVE, breathe, concieve, decieve, recieve, heave, leave, sleeve, releave, retrieve, we've, weave, etc etc. As you work your way through the book you can add more words as you find them.
Heres some more to help you get started:- PLAY, bay, clay, day, gay, hay, lay, may, neigh, pay, ray, say, stay, spray, sway, way.
DREAM, beam, been, cream, gleam, keen, lean, mean, queen, seem, seen, team.
STRONG, belong, furlong, gone, long, wrong, song, etc.

Now you get what i mean with that bit, next you just think of what you want to say in a poem and when you reach the last word of the first line you need to look back at your word list and pick the word you want that rhymes, for example:-
"you make me happy and inside i feel strong,
theres nowhere i want to be because your where i belong".

Some people write poems where the last word of the second line rhymes with the last word of the last line, example:-
"As i sleep i dream of you and i,
as we take a flight into the sky,.
a dream of colours red and white,
on an eagles wing way up high".

Also some peoms dont rhyme at all and these are called "free verse".

This is the easiest way to learn how to do poems i think, and once you have done one you really admire then you can check your grammer and spellings to make it absolutly perfect.

good luck
