Back in the '80s was a book of life lessons 4 children & feat. an elf that lived in outlets; want 2 find!

Written by a Mom. One other topic that I remember dealt with crossing a street safely featuring a Fox or Wolf, I think. Paperback, wide pages, illustrated. Also the "Electric Elf/Troll" was scary to teach child to never touch an outlet. I found order form in maybe a Parent magazine or such; not available in book stores at the time. I would like to find if still available for my grandchild. It was a great teaching source.

don't knwo the one you mean, but when i was a kid my dad read me the Struwwelpeter stories, probably not pc these days but featuring stories like Cruel Frederick, The Dreadfull Story of Harriet and the Matches, The Story of Little Suck-a-Thumb and a few others... all valuable lessons for children in a kinda scary way!
