Question:

Graduation Parent Tribute?

For graduation, I am supposed to write a parent tribute but I am horrible at expressing feelings into words. Can anyone come up with a nice one, please? I will of course personalize it but I need guidance =\

It's hard to put things into words. Sometimes it helps to make a list, or an outline, to find out what you want to cover. List some of the things your folks or the parents of your friends have done for you and your classmates.

Start with the obvious stuff: Got you out of bed in the morning. Took you to band practice. As you go further into the list, you may find some of the non-obvious ones, like: Set an example. Was my cheering section. After all, the person driving you to band practice could have done something else, but found your education more important than his/her other projects.

By the time you have the list, you will find the words to link them together into a speech.
