Question:

Okay how do i make it look like someine is in a hospital in a movie?

i dont have a hospital near me but it has to make it seem like my friend is sick on a bed(like first the sun shines then it pans down and u see the hospital and i just use my room for it with white or blue sheets) should i use greenscreen? and how for that kind of thing

i certainly wouldn't use greenscreen. It will look fake. Are you only going to see a corner of the room?

You need a room with white walls and very little clutter. Only have a small bedside set of drawers or small table with flowers, card etc. Avoid shooting the floor as hospitals would not have vinyl, carpet or floorboards like a persons home would (these are too hard to clean to a hospital's standards).

The bedclothes should also be white. No duvet on the bed, just thinner blankets. I don't know if you'll be able to give the impression that your friend is in one of those specialty beds they have in hospitals.

You may also want to make something that looks like the panel in the wall above the bed. Yet again, don't let the camera focus on it enough to show that it's fake.

If you can adjust your camera's aperture settings and have a tripod, you could select a wide aperture so that everything bet that which you are focusing on is slightly out of focus. This effect also looks cool.

Another thing you can do is only shoot close-ups of your friend's face (like in this picture http://www.inflictionfilms.com/html/gods... . You could briefly use an image from the internet or 2 seconds footage of someone in a hospital bed for any long shots.

I think the nursing home option seems easier : )
