Anyone been to the NW Folklife Festival in Seattle this year?...?

...Assuming the rain lets up tomorrow, we were thinking of taking our 2 small children to the FF. We've never been, and we're wondering if it is an appropriate environment for kids. I guess what I'm really getting at is- is it just a bunch of college students and hold-out hippies smoking pot at the Seattle Center? (lol) :) Thanks in advance for your advice.
