Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

well, the unlucky concept, actually stems from thespians, that is the actors in theatre.
The actual myth goes, that it is unlucky to say the name Macbeth, near the stage area of the theatre, when a performance there is imminent.
The actors, and thespians refer to it in the theatre and stage areas as "that/the scottish play"
So i suppose it isnt unlucky for everyone generally, more it is a tradition still upheld, in the world of theatre.
Hope this helps
