Question:

When you watch tv what is your focus?

For example not intentionally but I'm always looking for role models; when I look back at when I was watching tv as a child I was looking for role models

I never watch TV but on the one occasion that I did in the past year it was to count the number of scene changes in ten minutes. There was on average one every five seconds. And I was watching the news *cough* propaganda *cough*.

Tv is no place for role models or indeed focus. You cannot focus when you watch TV and for some hours afterwards. Your brain goes into a delta brainwave state, alarmingly similar to when you are being hypnotized. You cannot focus, just let the waves of images wash over you and become brainwashed. TV actually rewires your brain. It breaks old neuron connections and makes new ones all the time. This happens with everything but with TV it is most potent. If you see a car advert with a woman on who has large cleavage, you will asscosiate that car with sex.

Sorry, I've rambled.
