Personal words of inspiration:
1) THUNDER-an audio electrical dance across the sky, The clash heavenly clouds,
2) SUNBEAM-God's warm smile from the sky

What I'm pointing to with these examples, is that you shouldn't limit yourself to just words to replace other words. USE that great imagination and use phrases that describe a feeling what you want to get across to your reader.
