Absolutely a yes from me. A recent movie here in OZ showed an American higheshool classroom playing percussion type instruments without the need for sheet music. .They accompanied the Teacher by "ear" as in rythm . Music is food for the Soul it uplifts,energises,brings harmony into ones life and allows self expression to explore in a language that we all understand regardless of race ,religion, colour,native tongue or belief system. Music can build a bridge to everyone.
