Senior citizens are helped by Government ;but how?

Hi friend,
Here i have some problem
I just want to know that what the Government of India and that of otheres country have done for Old/senior citizens.
what are the steps taken by Government and what the policy are being or made for older citizens of the country.

by what/how they can avail these laws & get the use of it.

Of course, senior citizens are very much helped in India as well as in som othr democratic countries......as for india concerned...travellin in train concessions available, they r also havin a scheme to self employ old ppl.... if they have no source of income..... they will be helped til death
