What are you looking for in our next President?

I'm not asking who you are voting for or for any political statements. I just want to know what the average person is looking for in our next leader.

Common sense. I want a person with some common sense in office. In 2004, I was amazed at the common sense solutions the loosing candidate had and then was doubly amazed that he didn't win. I would like to see someone who does not come from a wealthy family in office, someone who knows from experience what it's like to work. I would also like to see someone who is intelligent and well read.
