ok the renaissance was a period of time where people were discovering new forms of art. sculpture was a big thing that was happening. in paintings, the idea of perspective was used (if you didnt know, that is seeing things in 3D or in relative scale) also, since humanism was a big issue during the renaissance, the artwork was based around humans more than the church. the mona lisa was created during this time by da vinci...hope this helps! |
