Question:

Why do you think young children have no interest in art anymore?

I am young (thirteen) and one of the only people I know who has a slight interest in art. Why is this? What happened?

Facetious, most people have an interest in art. Art can be anything from gig posters, furniture design, fashion/textiles, music, creating a garden, cooking a meal for friends, the design of buildings and bridges - all these things demand some sort of artistic ability - including all those kids out there who advise software companies on computer games and website design. Art isn't just paints and craft. If no-one had an interest in art anymore, we'd all be blobs living in a grey world. Maybe you don't recognise these things as art, but I think any substance that requires human effort to create and use it could be called art.
