Question:

My previous question wasn't answered?

Yeah, I know its a hard thing to grasp but I have heard of it. Dont look at me like some kind of idiot for asking a legitimate question. I have heard people say they know the true date of Jesus's birthday and they tribute it to their philosophy class. I was just wondering if anyone had heard that too.

This used to be a fairly common topic of discussion - despite what some others tell you.

There were two main reasons for the discussion: 1] historical accuracy, 2] to discredit Christianity by proving that Christmas was moved to replace pagan winter rites.

From memory, I recalled dates in September or March/April being the most common. Wikipedia has a thorough discussion of possible dates (did you look there first?).
