Why do people use photoshop on their art?

Why do people use photoshop on their art?

I've noticed a trend that people will draw/paint something and then digitally edit it. Its as if they didnt have the talent to do it right by hand. Does this bother anyone else?

It is all part of the development of contemporary art. Artists are using all the mediums that are available to further their art. The utilization of new techniques has occured for centuries. While I am not fond of much of the contemporary art either, it is their choice to use photoshop, just like it was Michelangelo's to use marble.
