Question:

John Berger writes that 'original masterpieces belong to the preserve both materialy & spiritually of the rich

He writes that experience of art is linked to class: museums are full of holy relics which refer to a mystery that excludes them: the mystery of unaccountable wealth. Do you think there is a relationship between wealth and the gallery-going public?

Very Deep Question.... but good one.

If we have $$$ we can enjoy more things this includes Arts in terms collecting art works.

The stranger thing is that people work to have $$$ so that they can enjoy things that are actually Free.

Example: Nature...is free. But people from the city pay $$$ to go back into Nature and enjoy it.

In the same way Arts is the same I guess...

I see this way Arts can be enjoyed by: being invovled as a viewer, collector, participant. How we are invovled depends on our interest/passion and our involvement level.

For me i would embrace everything as at different stages in life I would experience different level of invovlement.
