Question:

How do you write a screen play?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

Screenplays consist of sequences of scenes, and in each scene the story is advanced. Enter a scene late and leave early- in other words, let the viewer figure out what happened right before the camera rolled, and let the viewer finish the scene after the camera has already stopped. This means each scene must push the story forward relentlessly, without delay or extraneous stuff. I suggest reading a book on how to write screenplays, if you're interested in the mechanics, such as how to signal a new scene's start and end. However, if you keep in mind that you show, rather than tell, the story, you'll be on your way.
