Clive James gave a radio talk on the diamond skull last week - see web address below for transcript - I thought it was spot on.

As for Mother and Child Divided, I had respect for the people who did the pickling and put the glass case together - not much for the bloke who drew the idea on the back of his envelope. I find it depressing that 3 decades on from when Conceptualism was a new ism, most British work seems stuck in that same rut and, a century since dada's inception, Duchamp still seems to be the starting point for most British work.
